New Version Uploaded
Okay, so now that the jam is over and all the results have been announced, I've gone ahead and updated this game's files. This new version is identical to the original submission except it implements bug fixes that should solve the problems with folks not being able to shoot, enemies not showing up, etc. Everything should work properly now, but feel free to leave a comment if you catch any more bugs!
Despite the issues I had getting my entry working properly, folks still tried to play my game and give it a fair chance, and somehow I ended up being voted #1 in the artistry category and winning an 'honorable mentions' shoutout, which absolutely boggles my mind considering the caliber of everyone's submissions. Seriously: every submission I played was fun, creative, and had great artwork, and I'm flattered that people liked my silly little space dog platformer's art despite its technical issues. Thank you so much to everybody who played and rated my game, and I hope you can give it another shot now that it's actually working as intended!
This jam was a real joy to participate in and an incredible learning experience. Everyone was super friendly, supportive, and encouraging, and I had fun from start to finish. So, now that Lospec Jam 3 has been announced for August -- well, I guess I'll see y'all in August! I promise that this time I'll set aside more than the last hour before the deadline to make sure I squash any bugs!
